NYPD were called to the report of an unresponsive man at 2211 Frederick Douglass Blvd on June 8th at approximately 3:15 a.m.

On arrival police located Guillermo Edgardo Ortiz Palacios,40, suffering from head trauma. He was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators said Victor Springer, 35, was arrested and he is facing a charge of second-degree murder.
