William Peralta-Diaz, 42, was the passenger in a vehicle that his girlfriend was driving on March 26th just before midnight, when they were struck from behind on Bruckner Boulevard near Castle Hill Avenue.

Peralta-Diaz exited the vehicle to confront the other driver when he was stabbed in the leg. Police said the female driver was also maced and punched in the face.

Peralta-Diaz was rushed to Jacobi Hospital where he died of his injuries.
