Zamel Myers fatally shot in the hallway of a Brooklyn public housing complex

NYPD responded to a 911 report of a shooting inside of the Breukelen houses at 10713 Flatlands Ave on July 10th at approximately 8:50am.

On arrival police and paramedics located 44-year-old Zamel Myers suffering from gunshot injuries to the torso. He was pronounced at the scene.

There is no suspect information at this time and police said the investigation remains ongoing.
