NYPD were called to the report of a shooting at a home on Beach 67th Street near Almeda Avenue on August 2nd at approximately 7:22 a.m.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Shawn Frye, 14, of Paterson, NJ, on a driveway suffering from gunshot injuries to his lower back. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
