NYPD were called to the report of a stabbing at 1337 Beach Ave. in Parkchester at around 4:30 p.m. on April 29th.
On arrival, the police located 17-year-old Jonathan Melo, suffering from a stab wound to his back. He was rushed to Jacobi Hospital where he died of his injuries.
Police arrested Andrew Tollinche, 22, who faces murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon charges.
According to AMNY Melo and Tollinche had been antagonizing each other on TikTok before the attack.
