NYPD discovered the man who had been shot multiple times in the torso and arm in front of 2590 West 35th St on March 10th. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police said the incident came after a ShotSpotter alert at 1 Ocean Drive, off Surf Avenue, around 1:37 a.m. When officers arrived at Ocean Drive, witnesses reported hearing multiple shots. A search of the surrounding area led police to the victim on West 35th Street.
No arrests have been made, and police say no suspect has been identified. Anyone with information about the case is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
