NYPD were called to a stabbing at 667 East 232nd St. on June 28th at approximately 8:35pm.

On arrival, police located 40-year-old Tamara Rowe suffering from multiple stabbing injuries. She was rushed to Montefiore Hospital, where she died of her injuries.

According to reports, the victim was attacked by her boyfriend. 39-year-old Khaleel Cooper was arrested and charged with murder, manslaughter, endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Cooper’s 2-year-old niece was allegedly in the room at the time of the fatal stabbing.
