NYC 2026 Homicide Victim List

A 27-year-old Bronx woman has been charged with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon after authorities say she fatally stabbed a 31-year-old friend during an apparent argument inside their home on July 12th.

NYPD responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing at a residence near Teller Avenue and East 179th Street, across from Claremont Park, around 8:22 p.m. Officers found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the chest and a slash wound to the neck. She was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Her identity has not yet been released as authorities continue to notify her family.

According to investigators, the two women were involved in a dispute before the stabbing, though the motive behind the argument remains under investigation. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene and formally charged after questioning by detectives early Monday morning.
