NYC 2026 Homicide Victim List

NYPD were called to a report of a shooting in the area of W. 28th St. and Surf Ave. near the Coney Island Boardwalk on July 1st at approximately 9:20am.

On arrival police located Truron Roach-Martin, 24, who was also known as drill rapper Briscoe, suffering from gunshot wounds to the face and chest. He was rushed to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he died of his injuries.

The NYPD is searching for an unidentified suspect who fled the scene in the direction of Mermaid Avenue. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
