NYPD were called to 1199 Ocean Avenue in Midwood at around 8 a.m. on November 12th.

When they arrived, they found the building’s 41-year-old, superintendent, suffering from severe head injuries.

The victim was taken by EMS to Kings County Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. His name has not yet been released as authorities work to notify his family.

According to reports, the superintendent had confronted a man believed to be stealing packages from the building. The confrontation escalated, and the superintendent was fatally assaulted.
