NYPD responded to a 911 call about a woman being shot on June 23rd at approximately 2:30pm.

On arrival police found 45-year-old Chaneil Ramsay lying unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.

Paramedics rushed her to Jamaica Hospital, but she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

So far, no arrests have been made, and investigators have not yet identified a motive for the killing.
