The NYC 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to the report of a gunman firing what appeared to be an assault rifle outside a Queens Banquet Hall on Cross Bay Blvd. near Desarc Road in Ozone Park on June 19th at approximately 5:00am.

The shooter, Dwayne Whyte, 28, struck a 32-year-old man in the face and a 38-year man in the upper body. During the shootout, Whyte four times in the leg on Cross Bay Blvd. near Desarc Road.

The 28-year-old victim had left before police arrived and sought out medical treatment at King County Hospital, where he is in stable condition. The second victim, Raymond Francis, 38, was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he died of his injuries.

The accused Dwayne Whyte took himself to Jamaica Hospital before first responders arrived, and was arrested by police and charged him with attempted murder, attempted assault and gun possession.
