NYPD were called to a store at 134-29 Guy R Brewer Blvd on September 7th.

On arrival police located Daquan Monroe, 29, of 149th Avenue in Rosedale with gunshot wounds to his neck and shoulder. He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center by EMS, but was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving.

According to an NYPD spokesperson, the motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and no description of the suspect has been released at this time.
