Four people were shot inside a Brooklyn catering hall, the E&R Rental Hall on E. 92nd St. near Remsen Ave in Canarsie on January 13th during a hip-hop event.

According to reports a fight broke out and a man pulled a gun inside the hall. Three men, ages 46, 40 and 24-years-old, and woman, 32, were injured. Two of the men, and the woman were shot in the leg, and the fourth victim, the party’s promoter Shawn Jeffrey, 46, was shot in the head while trying to de-escalate the gunman. Jeffrey was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time.
