NYPD  responded to an assault in the area of 110th Avenue and Liverpool Street on July 12th at 8:12am.

On arrival police located 41-year-old Dwayne Belfield, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. HE was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

No arrests have been made. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
