Police and paramedics responded to the report of a stabbing at an apartment building on Troy Ave. near Dean St. in Crown Heights on May 18th at around 7:55am.

On arrival emergency crews located Jahmer Wilson-Freeman, 18, suffering from a stab wound to the chest. He was rushed to Interfaith Medical Center where he died of his injuries. The victim’s grandmother was home at the time of the homicide.

According to reports, an argument occurred between Wilson-Freeman and his cousin who is also 18. The fight spilled out into the hallway where the teen was stabbed. The 18-year-old was taken into custody with charges pending.
