John Melville fatally shot in a Bronx drive-by

John Melville, 37, was shot in the back of the head at East 169th Street and Washington Avenue on March 31st at approximately 7:45pm.

Melville was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where he died of his injuries. Police said the suspect opened fire from a grey Lexus.

Poloce said the victim was known to authorities and had about 20 prior arrests, but it wasn’t yet clear why he was killed.
