Police said Kevin Alves, 38, was standing in the lobby of a building at 1144 Bergen Street when he was shot in the head on April 9th at approximately 1:00am. A second man was also sustained shooting injuries to his torso and his ear.

Both men were taken to Kings County Hospital Center, where Alves died of his injuries. No arrests have been made at this time.
