Police and paramedics responded to the report of a shooting at the Morris Houses on Washington Ave, on March 26th at approximately 10:45am.

Keyan Francis, 28, was located suffering from a gunshot wounds to the chest on the 14th floor of the building. Francis was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. According to reports, the victim’s last known address was in Harlem, and investigators are trying to determine what brought him to the Bronx that morning.
