Lamont Barkley fatally stabbed by a man and a woman on an NYC bus

NYPD said Lamont Barkley, 55, was involved in an argument with a man and a woman on a BX19 bus at about 8:30 p.m on October 9th.

The argument escalated and the pair stabbed Barkey several times in the stomach near the intersection of East 149th Street and Gerard Avenue. The assailants exited the bus and fled in an unknown direction

Barkley was rushed to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested Ebony Jackson, 42, on October 10th, and she was charged with murder and manslaughter. The male suspect is still on the run.
