NYPD were called to an apartment on East 138th Street near Cypress Avenue on September 11th at approximately 4:00pm.

On arrival police located 27-year-old Tyquise Bell suffering from stabbing injuries. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

A gofundme was created to help the family with funeral costs

No arrtests have been made.

According to Daily News, “Tyquise served a three-year prison stint, recently getting out on April 17 after having pleaded guilty to weapons possession charges. He was released from Green Haven Correctional Facility in Stormville, N.Y., according to court records. He was on parole until 2027.”
