NYPD were called to a shooting around 12:30 a.m. on September 20 in front of a home on the 900 block of Rev. James A. Polite Avenue.

NYPD arrived to find Amaury Carrion, 46, suffering from gunshot wounds. NYPD said Carrion lived just a few houses away from where he was found.

He was taken to Lincoln Hospital by EMS, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police are searching for a male suspect wearing a gray or white hooded sweatshirt who was seen fleeing on a bicycle.

Update: Marcus Jayson, 42, was arrested on October 29th and charged with murder, manslaughter, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
