NYPD were called to the report of an assault in progess at around 4:47 a.m. on April 23 in front of 771 9th Ave.
Police arrived to find an unidentified man suffering multiple stab wounds to the torso, along with a second victim—a 34-year-old man who was stabbed repeatedly in the abdomen. Both men were rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where the unidentified man died of his injuries.
Police are searching for a suspect described as a male wearing a black jacket and blue pants, fleeing on a bicycle southbound on 9th Avenue.
