NYPD say a man believed to be in his 30s was found fatally stabbed in Major Mark Park on October 7th.
Police responded to the park near Hillside Avenue and 175th Street around 4:47 a.m. after reports of an unconscious man. Officers discovered he had been stabbed in the chest. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
The victim has not yet been identified, and investigators are looking into whether he may have been homeless. Police have not released information about a suspect or person of interest and are continuing to investigate what led to the deadly stabbing.
