McDonalds worker who was shot over cold fries has died of his injuries.

NYPD were called to the report of a shooting at 1531 Fulton St. on August 1st at approximately 7:00pm.

Police arrived to find Matthew Webb, 23, suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. Police said Lisa Fulmore, complained to workers that her fries were cold and asked to speak to a manager while on facetime with her son Michael Morgan, 20. When the employees laughed at her, her son entered and got into an argument with Webb. The men went outside where Webb was shot.

NYPD announced on August 5th, that Webb died of his injuries in hospital.

Morgan was originally charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon. Police have not stated when his charges will be upgraded.

According to reports while being questioned for the murder of Webb, he allegedly implicated himself in a 2020 murder. He has since been charged with the October 2020 homicide of 28-year-old Kevin Holloman.
