NYPD were called to the area of Beach Street and Union Place near the entrance to Eden II, a private school on May 9th at approximately 3:15pm.
Police arrived to find 26-year-old Michael Evans suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Evans was taken to Richmond University Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.
No arrests have been made and police say the suspect fled in a gray sedan, possibly a BMW.
