NYPD responded to the report of a shooting in the area of Foch Boulevard and Guy R Brewer Boulevard in Jamaica just before 10 p.m on April 16th.

On arrival police located Yaw Pabi suffering from gunshot wound to the head. Pabi was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he died of his injuries. Police believe the fatal shot was fired a block or more away.

No arrests have been made at this time.
