NYPD responded to a shooting at 397 East 198th Street in Bedford Park, on February 12th at approximately 11:00pm.

Police said Oliver Arnold, 24, of Peeksville, was shot in the head and Jamal Smith, 28 of New Rochelle, was shot in the torso. Both victims were rushed to St. Barnabas hospital where they died of their injuries.

According to newyork.cbslocal.com “A nearby deli worker said it started as an argument at a baby shower, before spilling out into the streets.”

Wayne Smith, 28, of New Rochelle, was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police are searching for a second suspect seen below in relation to the homicide.
