NYPD were called to the report of a shooting the corner of East 207th Street and Decatur Avenue in Williamsbridge on June 8th at 12:08 a.m.
On arrival, police located Jaden Purvis unresponsive, suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and knee. He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are attempting to identify and interview two men who were observed entering a black BMW that subsequently fled northbound on Parkside Avenue.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers, with all tips kept strictly confidential.
