Unidentified Man Fatally Shot in Tremont; No Arrests Made in Bronx Homicide Investigation

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of an unidentified man in the Tremont neighborhood of the Bronx.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire outside an apartment building and commercial property on Grand Concourse at approximately 2:35 a.m. on June 4. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest and groin.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Authorities have not yet identified the man, who remains listed as a John Doe.

Investigators have not released a motive for the shooting, and no suspect description has been made available. No arrests have been announced as detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the homicide.
