NYPD responded to reports of an assault near Glenmore and Sheffield Avenues on October 4th at about 8:45am.

On arrival, police located Luis Gonzalez, age 34, suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. He was rushed to Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center where he died of his injuries.
