NYPD responded tu the report os an assault at a home on the 6900 block of Park Drive East off Jewel Avenue at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 26th.
On arrival, police located 24-year-old Tania Morales, who was found unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from severe head injuries and a laceration to her wrist.
EMS transported Morales to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in critical condition. She later succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities said the husband could face charges as the investigation continues and officials await further findings.
