NYPD responded to a shooting at 9:34 p.m. on November 12th near the southwest corner of Hendrix Street and New Lots Avenue.

On arrival police located Cyian Brown, 34, Suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Brown was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The suspect is described as male with a dark complexion who was seen wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket and ripped jeans.

Police also released photos of two witnesses to this incident.
