Police in the Bronx are looking for two men wanted in connection with an early morning shooting in the Castle Hill neighborhood.
According to the NYPD, a 34-year-old man was shot shortly after 4 a.m. near the intersection of Gleason Avenue and Castle Hill Avenue, outside a deli.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was taken to Lincoln Hospital. Police said he is expected to recover.
Investigators say two armed suspects fled the area on foot following the shooting. Both were reportedly wearing black clothing and face coverings at the time.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
