One man was fatally stabbed and another shot in the arm during an assault in Queens

NYPD responded to a 911 call in the area of Merrick Blvd. and 108th Drive in Jamaica at approximately 6:30 p.m on February 21st. Police said a 39-year-old man arrived at Jamaica Hospital, with a gunshot wound to the arm around the same time.

Police arrived at the scene to find a man suffering from a stab wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity has not been released at this time.

Investigators have determined that both men were injured in the same altercation.
