The NYC 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPS were called to a stabbing inside of the Project Renewal New Providence Women’s Shelter at 255 East 45th Street on December 16th at 10:00pm.

On arrival police located 27-year-old Victoria Goode suffering from stab wounds to the head, shoulder and thigh. She was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.

Police are searching for Charmaine Crossman, 42, who allegedly stabbed the victim. Crossman was the victim’s roommate at the shelter. She was last seen wearing a pink and white striped shirt and black pants.

Update December 20th
 Charmaine Crossman turned herself in Tuesday at the 69th Precinct stationhouse in Canarsie, Brooklyn.
