NYPD said Victor Vega was walking on Lexington Avenue near his home on May 25 when he was approached by two men.
One man punched Vega in the head knocking him to the ground. The suspect then took something from Vega, and passed it to the second man before fleeing on foot.
Vega was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on May 30th. No arrests have been made at this time.
