According to reports, 23-month-old Aniyah Wyatt-Wright was taken to Brookdale Hospital on October 2nd, at approximately 11:30am after the baby went into seizures.

While at the hospital Aniyah went into cardiac arrest and was transferred to Cohen Children’s Medical Center in Queens, where she died and the cause of death was revealed as blunt force trauma.

According to The New York Post, Robert Wright allegedly admitted to hitting the child, who was found to have brain bleeding and bruising on her face and limbs.

Wright was taken into custody and charged with manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide.
