NYPD were called to a shooting at 36-11 12th St. on January 20th at 3:43 p.m.
On arrival, police located 36-year-old Samuel Alston on the second floor of the building, suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. He was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.
According to reports, Alston’s wife and young children were home at the time of the fatal shooting.
