Sunset Park Stabbing Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured Outside Brooklyn Market

Brooklyn police responded to another violent incident in Sunset Park early Thursday morning. Around 4:55 a.m., officers arrived outside a business on 6th Avenue after reports of an assault in progress.

At the scene, they found a 35-year-old man unconscious with multiple stab wounds to his torso, along with a 36-year-old man who had been slashed in the face. The 35-year-old victim was pronounced dead, while the second man’s condition was not immediately released.

Investigators say the attack is separate from the Canarsie case. No arrests have been made as police continue to search for suspects and determine what led to the violence.
