Police said officers responded to a 911 call shortly before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday August 12th after receiving reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found 15-year-old Riley Billingslea suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim, a 13-year-old boy, was also found with a graze wound to his torso. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital by ambulance and was reported to be in stable condition.
Police have not released any information about a possible suspect or said whether investigators have identified the person responsible for the shooting.
