NYPD were called to the report of a shooting at the Van Dyke Houses located at 375 Blake Ave on May 10, at around 3:00pm.
On arrival, police located 18-year-old Quahmir Cruz suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
Police said no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
