At approximately 7:44 a.m. on May 8, police from the 81st Precinct responded to a 911 call reporting an unconscious man near Bainbridge Street and Howard Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found an unidentified adult male who was unresponsive and had sustained a stab wound to the chest.
Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to One Brooklyn Health–Interfaith Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
