NYPD responded to a residential area near 3685 Secor Ave. in Eastchester around 5:39 p.m. on January 21st.

On arrival police found 19-year-old Jahmir Turner suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. The shooting occurred just a short walk from Turner’s home on Bivona Street.

Turner was taken to Jacobi Hospital by EMS, but he later died from his injuries. Police are searching for three men who were seen running from the area shortly after the gunfire.

Police arrested three juvenile suspects on Thursday afternoon after an investigation by the 47th Precinct. The NYPD did not release their names because of their ages. Two of the suspects are 15 years old and the third is 16, and all three are charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
