55-year-old man stabbed to death at a Brooklyn Halfway House

NYPD responded to a 911 report of a stabbing on April 7th at a home on Schenectady Ave. home near Linden Boulevard in East Flatbush.

On arrival police located the 55-year-old male victim suffering from stab wounds to the head, arms, and chest. According to The New York Daily News, a bloody knife was found near the victim’s body. HE was pronounced at the scene.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending next if kin notification. Police said his death is being investigated as a homicide.
