NYC 2026 Homicide Victim List

A Bronx wellness clinic founder is facing a homicide charge after a 27-year-old woman died following an unlicensed medical procedure.

Luis Rojas Cabrera, 55, allegedly performed an “anti-aging” NAD+ injection on Elizabeth Baron at his Bronx clinic on July 19. Baron suffered a cardiac air embolism shortly afterward and died despite emergency treatment.

According to NY Daily News, Baron’s death of Baron was declared a homicide in late September 2026.

Cabrera was not licensed to practice medicine in the U.S., though he was licensed in the Dominican Republic. His attorney says Baron’s death was an accident and maintains that Cabrera will be cleared in court.
