NYPD responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in front of 1196 Eastern Parkway around 8:47 p.m. on November 1st.
When officers arrived, they found Tyson Harps, a Bronx resident, lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head. He was unconscious and unresponsive. Paramedics quickly responded, but sadly, Harps was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooter, or possibly multiple suspects, had already fled before police arrived. Investigators are still working to determine a motive behind the deadly attack.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
