Officers from the NYPD’s 103rd Precinct responded to a 911 call around 10:45 a.m. on October 16 about a shooting at a residence on 108th Avenue.
When police arrived, they found 18-year-old Jonathan Adams suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency responders rushed him to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Detectives from the 103rd Precinct’s homicide unit are investigating the case, working to determine what led to the deadly shooting and to identify the suspect involved.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
