NYPD were called to a shooting at 2957 Avenue X at the Sheepshead Houses in Sheepshead Bay, on March 23 at approximately 6:00pm.
Police responded to a 911 call and found the boy unconscious with a gunshot wound to his chest.
He was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/South Brooklyn but was pronounced dead. Authorities have not released his name, pending family notification.
