NYPD responded to a shooting near the corner of Bronxwood Avenue and East 217th Street on April 2nd at approximately 9:25 p.m.

On arrival police located Ricardo Bygrave, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police are searching for a suspect, described as a male wearing a black jacket and black pants, who was last seen on an e-bike traveling northbound along Bronxwood Avenue.
